Your way to SIXT
From Terminal 2, after exiting the baggage claim, turn right toward the car rental desks and information. Continue until you reach our SIXT counter.
From Terminal 3, after exiting the baggage claim, take our free shuttle to Terminal 2. The shuttle leaves from stop 17, outside the arrivals hall, and runs every 15 minutes during our opening hours. Once you arrive at Terminal 2, take the elevator to level 1, turn left and enter the arrivals hall from the left. Alternatively, proceed straight to the Terminal 2 arrivals hall through the pedestrian underpass.
With public transportation
From London, you can take the underground to Heathrow Terminal 2. Upon exiting the station, follow the signs directing you to Terminal 2 arrivals. Our SIXT branch is located inside the arrivals hall on level 1.
In a taxi, the drop-off zone is located on level 5. For Uber, you'll be dropped off on level 4. Take the elevators to level 1, following the arrivals signs. You will see then see our SIXT branch.
Alternatively, buses 105, 111, 278, 285, A10, and U3 all stop at the Heathrow Central Bus Station, located between Terminals 2 and 3 and above the London Underground station. Follow signs to Terminal 2 arrivals on level 1, where you can find our SIXT branch. To reach Terminal 3 once you arrive, you can walk from Terminal 2. For Terminals 4 and 5, take the free Heathrow Express train at Terminal 2.
Parking facilities
There are no parking facilities available for customers. You will have to pay any passenger drop-off or parking fees directly to the airport.
Return information
Navigate to our SIXT branch at Heathrow Terminal 2 Short Stay Car Park, Hounslow, TW6 1EW.
Once you arrive at the airport, follow signs for Terminals 2 and 3, staying in the right-hand lane when you enter the tunnel. As you exit the tunnel, stay right and follow the "Short stay car park" signs. Use the right lanes 4 and 5 to enter the parking garage. Proceed up to level 4, following the SIXT signs. Park your vehicle in the return area. A SIXT agent will be there to collect your key and assist with your return.
For returns outside of business hours, please check that you have all your belongings, lock the vehicle, and place the key in our SIXT key drop box, located next to the SIXT booth.

**Review for Sixt Car Hire, Terminal 4 Heathrow**
I recently had the pleasure of hiring a car from Sixt at Terminal 4, Heathrow, and I must say, the service was exceptional from start to finish. My situation was unique: I had just returned from a long holiday to find my car's battery flat after being parked for over a month. In this stressful moment, I decided to hire a car, and Sixt turned out to be a lifesaver.
I was assisted by Manpreet, who exemplified professionalism and empathy. Due to an autocorrect error, I mistakenly booked the car in my brother's name while all the other details were mine. This could have been a major issue, but Manpreet recognized the genuine mistake and went out of her way to help. She sought multiple authorizations and ensured I could hire the car without any inconvenience.
Manpreet went above and beyond. She even upgraded me to a larger car for free after learning about the challenges I was facing. Furthermore, she arranged for Archie from the car collection point near the Milton Hotel to personally deliver the car to me, sparing me the trouble of walking to the Sixt pickup location. This level of customer care was beyond what I’ve experienced with other car hire companies.
At the end of my hire, I was greeted by Ali, who handled the car return process seamlessly. He stepped out of his office to personally ask how the car was, made the check-out process effortless, and promptly sent all the necessary documents via email.
I’ve rented cars from many companies, including Europcar and Hertz, but this was my first time with Sixt. The service exceeded all my expectations, and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Their team genuinely goes the extra mile to make customers’ lives easier.

I generally only ever use Sixt. Cost is higher than some but they have a high level of customer service, excellent fleet and no dodgy car salesman approach. I know what I am getting with Sixt and I happily pay a little bit more for peace of mind and great customer service.

Great service and pick up location, loved that the rental counter was right at the arrival area and was greeted warmly and served professionally by Sonia at the check in counter. The car location is at the adjacent multistory carpark and return was pretty hassle free as well at the same location. It would be good if there are more signs at the airport on how to get to the sixt return area. We arrived around 6am to return and was able to drop our keys in the drop off box which was great - received an email shortly after that return was complete! We also ordered an infant seat which we were told to pick up from a staff at the carpark. The seats were cleaned and wrapped in plastic cover but it would be so much better if the staff could help with the installation of the infant seats / if the seats are already installed upon your arrival.. after all the reservation was made months in advance. Aside from that, everything was great - and car was in good condition!
