Secure a SIXT car rental in Switzerland and experience all the country has to offer on your own terms. To make your trip as wonderful as possible, keep the following in mind:
- Traffic jams: As you approach congested traffic, turn on your hazard lights. Also, never try to circumvent traffic by entering the mandatory rescue lane –it is dangerous and doing so may result in a fine.
- Headlights: If the engine of your Switzerland rental car is on, the headlights should be on, too. Day and night, you must have the headlights on while you are driving
- Drive on the right: Just like in America, in Switzerland, you drive on the right side of the road
- Getting gas: Paying for petrol at the pump is rare in Switzerland – you will probably have to pay inside
Knowing the Swiss rules of the road will make for a smoother ride.
Switzerland is yours to explore – your way - in a SIXT rental car:
