Good company to deal with, spoke English and new ish cars with some existing minor damage, driving in Lima will do that😉 Take some video of the car when you pick it up. Driving in Lima and Peru is not easy you will need some experience in following the local laws, Drive with lights on all the time especially and stick to the speed limit most of the time. The money hungry police await your arrival in your clearly tourists vehicle, in 5 days was pulled over 4 times and had to pay police twice = 800 soles

I booked a corolla but got a prius instead, that was nice for gasoline consumption but we had a smaller trunk (in Peru is not a good idea to have luggage showing). Car was in good condition. Rental process was slow (a lot of paperwork compared to renting in US or Europe) but adequate. I declined all their insurances (used credit card provided coverage) and there was no pressure to take them. In summary, a good rental experience.

Last year april 2025 had great experience with Sixt rental for renting a car in Morocco ! This time decided to rent again the car from Sixt! Ofc i chose the zero excess insurance. It cost me additional money but its always so stressfree! I recommend to rent a car from Sixt! Cars are good, almost new ones so as staff are professional!
