Fernando was great at helping us with our car rental. Everything was smooth and well explained. Sunny was super professional and helpful from the time he greeted us walking in the door to walking us through the contract and how the car operated. I had never heard of Sixt before this experience in Annecy but because of Sunny we felt comfortable and excited to drive across France to drop the car off in Bayonne. Thanks Sunny! Until next time!!

I rented a Sixt+ car from this agency from June to September 2023. I drove about 20K kms during this period (and paid a sur-charge), and in mid-September the tires had lost air which I didn't realise until it caused me to hit the rim on the sidewalk while parking. Sixt charged me for the damages ! Totally unacceptable! These tires clearly needed to be changed at Sixt's expense given the number of kms that I drove - and that had been driven on vehicle prior to my renting it. Plus, when I contested the charge, Sixt defended their decision using totally incorrect information. Renters beware: from my experience, Sixt tries to make money off your back any way they can, and without any respect for client or facts.
Update : I am changing my review because finally the Sixt customer service recognised the unfairness of the situation and reimbursed me my money. Thank you Sixt, good customer service, just should have been faster !
